It is such a pleasure to walk into a place of business and see young ladies dressed so appropriately
and sharp..... love these looks .... professional and smart.  Every time I walk into a business and see people dressed as if they are going out for the evening on a hot date, I loose my desire to trust the judgement of the people in charge of the business and those helping me.  It is time to respect the position.

I am in Santa Barbara visiting my lovely and wonderful daughter Cara and of course there is always time for shopping.  You've heard of having an Angel, well there is a great store here called Angel... I just love it .  They were having a sale so I had check out the rack.  Two wonderful girls were helping me and I just had to feature them on this site.. such cute style they both have.  Simple, yet very creative.. comfortable ... casual ... and well put together. Note the boots-- and the clean lines of all three outfits.
 Now who wouldn't want girls who looked this great help you look great ?   Thanks girls --

My friends and I went to one of my favorite California towns... Claremont. 
The town is absolutely beautiful it reminds me of Evanston Illinois meets Highland Park Illinois - two other great towns.  
Claremont is a college town, located 30 miles east of LA, with wide tree lined streets and incredible old homes.   The stores are great -no chain stores- and the fashion on the street is fun and casual- thanks to all the college students.  This spring Jack my husband, Neal our good friend,  and I went to Claremont for the day and there was this wonderful Jazz band from a German High School  playing in the concert area behind the stores.  The music was great and it was even more fun watching them perform and enjoying every minute of making music.   Thus the pictures of this cool band and its leader.

Stylist With Style

The people who make us look good certainly should have some style of there own... and these stylists certainly do. I was having lunch at Kreation on Montana in Santa Monica and could not resist taking pictures of the people walking into this incredible salon Thomas Chase Hairdressing.  I will be featuring that salon this week on my blog about design Inspiration By Design  -- what a wonderful salon.
